Gidget and I
Gidget and I

I have been involved with bulldogs for most of my life. After tagging along with Mum to dog shows for around 5 years and never even stepping foot in the ring I decided that I would like to try out showing myself.
Mum was very supportive and took me out to buy some show clothes, which I felt very uncomfortable in at the start. (Little did I know they would end up being just about the only clothes I bought). What I didnt know was that Toowooba Royal was kind of a big deal. Mum even let me show Lilly (Ch Fullbren Won N Only). After picking up best of breed I was hooked. Shortly after that Paul and Jennifer Brennan (Fullbren) offered me an 8 week old puppy (Ch Fullbren Cold Case) to campaign and have some fun with. I dont think anyone knew just how much fun iI would have with her. Gidget and I went on to win 5 baby in groups and 4 baby in shows. Then if that wasnt enough her 1st show out of baby at the tender age of 6 1/2 months, Gidget won a 16 point best of breed and runner-up in group.

After all my wins with Gidget people were worried that the only way I could go was down. That wasnt the case. Gidget was powering on and then got a new dog named Wilbur (Ch Fullbren Wilbur Wild). Mum originally handled Wilbur and we tittled both Wilbur and Gidget at 13 months at the same show. Then fortunatly for me, and Wilburs show career, Mum broke her leg. So I took over handling this wonderful dog. Now that we have dug deep and found that Wilbur actually has a personality (His nick-name is SPARKY) theres no stopping him.
I have handled Wilbur to many wins including Multi Best in Show and Runner Up Best In Show Awards (all breeds and specialty). I am looking forward to handling Wilbur to his grand championship title.
One of my greatest achievments is handling Wilbur to win Best In Group at the Brisbane royal 08.

I will continue to handling my Mums Bulldogs and am extremely looking forward to Gidgets 1st litter (to none other then Wilbur Wild) and I hope to campaign one of the pups a little later in the year.
Gidget is now retired from showing and she can sleep the days away in the couch and the nights on my bed.

A huge thankyou goes out to Gina Watson and Bev O'Hara for all their tips and advice in the early days.
I would also like to thank Paul and Jennifer Brennan for breeding Gidget and Wilbur and allowing me to campaign them both.
